Immigration by Westwords

In a month where the European immigration emergency has spiralled into deeper disorder, one cannot help but be moved in some way. Five years of fighting in Syria has caused one of the worst humanitarian crises of the 21st Century and the movement of thousands of people across foreign borders is the centre of attention. In this show we look at the poetry and music of immigration featuring: Sargon Boulus, Tishani Doshi, Margaret Atwood, Emma Lazarus, Czeslaw Milosz and Carol Rumens. Music from Bruce Springsteen, Elbow, Geoffrey Oryema and more.
